New chairs! (sort of...)
I've been so unhappy with the terribly boring gray kitchen chair cushions that A bought some years ago.
I found some really nice-looking cushions that I wanted to buy, but they were too expensive, so I skipped that. Then, I remembered my mistake from a few months ago when I accidentally bought way too much of a lovely blue-and-white flowery fabric. Since it's much more fun to make something than to buy a finished product I decided to sew new cushions using that textile.
Partly out of laziness and partly out of a desire to reuse, I simply covered the old cushions with the new ones and replacing the horrible corduroy with a nicer solution.
I'm very happy with the result, and entering the kitchen has turned into a more pleasant experience now. I also love how they go so well together with the lovely blue table cloth my grandmother wove many years ago.
